Secondhand clothing, furniture, home goods and pieces for upcycling projects fill this downtown Billings Goodwill Store. Sales here fund the organization's nonprofit job training, disability and health-related programs. The organization runs these services across four states to help people become more independent and lead productive, meaningful lives.
Donations are accepted at the store, where an attendant unloads items straight from donors' cars. Each donation earns a coupon for a future visit, and shoppers on the store's email list hear early about special sales and coupon days and get DIY project ideas and thrifting tips. The tan building has a tall arched entry trimmed in green, and its blue Goodwill sign has white lettering. The store is open seven days a week and stays open into the evening.
