Since 1955, this Livingston shop has served its community. It was formerly St. Peter's Thrift Shop and now runs as Heavenly Finds, a ministry of the Church of the Holy Spirit in Verona. It is a nonprofit, and all profits fund local programs that address food insecurity and youth. The shop opens on Mondays.
Racks of clothing fill the green-floored sales room, along with shelves of hats, handbags and housewares. Clean donations in sellable condition go into two large green bins on the shop's porch. Accepted items include clothing for adults and kids size 6 and up, shoes, jewelry, accessories, small kitchen appliances, dishware, home decor, games and puzzles. Furniture, linens, books, car seats, large toys, men's suits and large electronics are not accepted.
