Run by the Friends of Discovery, The Thrift Station in Danville sells donated goods and takes donations from the community. It is open six days a week and closed on Sundays. On Senior Day, the first Wednesday of every month, shoppers 62 and older get half off clothing, shoes, purses and accessories, though some months have exclusions. Half-off sales on select items come up often, and an email list announces them.
