In Ossipee, White Horse Recovery Thrift Store is run by White Horse Recovery, and every purchase goes straight to the organization's recovery programs. The shelves hold clothing, furniture and household goods for everyday needs. The store serves White Horse clients and their families, people in transition and the wider community. It also gives people in recovery volunteer work where they can give back and build new skills.
Donations of furniture, kitchenware, décor, outdoor items and seasonal clothing for all ages and sizes are welcome, including children's clothing. The store does not take televisions, computers, printers, mattresses, box springs, ski equipment, car seats or large appliances such as washers, dryers and stoves. It is open five days a week.
