Run by The Salvation Army in Laconia, New Hampshire, this thrift store sells donated goods to support the local work of the international Christian charity. Every purchase and every donation helps fund the organization's social services programs in the community. The shop goes by the name Family Store within The Salvation Army.
Clothing, furniture and household items are accepted as donations directly at the store. Drop-offs are taken on the same days the store is open, but the donation window closes earlier in the afternoon than the sales floor does. The Salvation Army Thrift Store keeps a five-day weekly schedule, open Tuesday through Saturday and closed on Sundays and Mondays.
