A nonprofit thrift store in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, this Goodwill is run by Goodwill of Delaware and Delaware County, PA. Money from selling donated goods pays for programs that help people facing barriers to employment find meaningful work. The doors are open seven days a week, with evening hours. Racks of clothing and upholstered chairs and sofas stand along the brick front, under a blue-and-white Goodwill sign.
Donations are taken in good, working condition: clothing, shoes, jewelry and accessories, books, furniture, kitchenware, decorative items, small appliances, computers, sporting goods, toys, and records, DVDs and video games. Large furniture is best dropped off at a store location. Mattresses, televisions, car seats, large household appliances, building materials, paint and firearms are not accepted.
