The Middletown ReStore sells new and used items to fund the affordable housing mission of Habitat for Humanity of New Castle County, and every purchase and donation supports that work locally. The store is open five days a week and stays open into the evening on Wednesdays. Its white ReStore sign sits on a long green fascia under a green metal roof.
Donations can be dropped off during store hours. Habitat also offers free regular pickup for items on its accepted-donations list, as long as they are easy to reach at ground level or no more than six steps up, whether inside a home, in a garage or in a storage unit. Items that don't meet those rules can go through a paid priority pickup run with Haul Buddy. Some finds are also sold through an online ReStore.
