Deseret Industries in Salt Lake City combines a thrift store and a donation center at a single location. A broad navy-and-red sign with a white beehive emblem spans the front entrance. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints operates Deseret Industries, which pairs its stores with job training programs. The store opens six days a week, closes on Sundays, and stays open into the evening at least once a week.
