Tender Hearts Thrift Store in Rock Hill is open six days a week and closed on Sundays, and it takes donations on Saturdays. Clothing, furniture and household goods can also go to the ministry's donation warehouse. The racks and shelves hold clothing, shoes, accessories, jewelry, bedding, glassware, toys, games, bikes, furniture, small electronics and seasonal decorations.
The store is run by Tender Hearts Ministries, a nonprofit Christian organization working to end homelessness, poverty, addiction, abuse and despair. Its thrift sales support the House of Hope women's shelter, a men's shelter and the ministry's baby care and senior care programs. These programs give men, women and children a safe place to stay, detox referrals, recovery support, job training and mentoring.
