Part resale shop and part donation drop-off, the Salvation Army Thrift Store & Donation Center in Providence both sells goods and takes them in. Donation boxes are received at the building's loading dock rather than the front entrance. The store opens six days a week, keeps evening hours on at least one of them, and closes on Sundays. Money from its sales goes toward the charity's adult rehabilitation programs.
