A donation-based thrift shop run by The Salvation Army's Savannah Corps, the Salvation Army Thrift Store in Savannah, Georgia, sells secondhand clothing, furniture and household goods. The Savannah Corps also provides hunger relief, shelter, family and social services, substance abuse recovery programs, disaster relief, holiday assistance and outreach to the elderly.
The store takes donations of clothing, furniture and household items, and the Corps accepts donated vehicles too. It is open five days a week. On the sales floor, red stripes run along white walls above a wood-plank floor, and the front is filled with bed frames, dressers, china cabinets and dining sets, with clothing racks farther back.
