Run as the nonprofit thrift store of ECHO, this Brandon shop puts its sales toward the organization's work helping neighbors in need. Proceeds fund ECHO's Empower program, a job coaching initiative, financial counseling, workshops, and emergency food and clothing. The store's name is spelled out in green letters with a tree emblem across its glass front door.
ECHO Thrift is open six days a week and closed on Sundays. Donations are accepted on the same days the store is open, but only during the morning and early afternoon. Beyond the sales floor, ECHO also sells donated items online through an eBay storefront, so its stock reaches shoppers well past the store's own doors.
