MCC Thrift Rancho Cucamonga belongs to the network of secondhand shops run by Mennonite Central Committee, and its sales fund that organization's relief, development and peace work around the world. The shop helps people in need close to home as well as abroad, and reselling donated goods keeps them out of the waste stream. The storefront sits under a red clay tile roof, with tan stucco walls and textured block pillars between its wide front windows.
The store runs on donated secondhand goods, and people in the community can also volunteer there. Thrift sales help pay for MCC projects such as school kits sent to children on five continents and programs for women in Zimbabwe and Afghanistan. The store is open six days a week and closed on Sundays.
