Tucson has two Blessingdales locations, and both are operated by Teen Challenge of Arizona. The organization runs its thrift stores to raise money for its programs, which offer youth, adults and families a Christian faith-based approach to overcoming life-controlling problems. Its stated goal is to help people become mentally sound, emotionally balanced, socially adjusted, physically well and spiritually alive.
Blessingdales accepts donations all the time, and items can be dropped off whenever the store is open. Larger donations can be picked up by appointment. The store is open six days a week and closed on Sundays. Teen Challenge of Arizona also runs residential centers in Tucson and Phoenix, and Blessingdales now has its own separate website.
