Opened in November 2010 in downtown Modesto, the Endless Possibilities Thrift Store is run by the nonprofit Society for disABILITIES. Its stock includes clothing, furniture and housewares, and because donations arrive regularly, the selection is always changing. The store holds weekly sales, and every day it gives a discount to active, former and retired military personnel with verification. It is open six days a week and closed on Sundays.
Donations of housewares, furniture, clothing, toys and more are welcome, and they are tax-deductible. Sales bring steady income to Society for disABILITIES, paying for its programs and services for children and adults with diverse abilities and helping to cover its operating costs. The store also provides job training for people with and without disabilities.
