Open five days a week, with evening hours on at least one day, Alpine Attic Thrift Shop in Simi Valley sells donated merchandise. All of the net proceeds from those sales go to Alpine Camp and Conference Center. The money pays for camp scholarships and for maintenance projects at the camp.
Volunteers run the shop entirely, and its work has a faith-driven focus on benevolence. Its own motto calls it a thrift shop with a cause. Above the entrance, the name stands in large white letters next to a pale evergreen tree emblem, with "Thrift Shop" set beneath in deep green.
