In Tomball, Texas, TEAM Resale Shop is run by Tomball Emergency Assistance Ministries, a volunteer-driven nonprofit supported by a group of member churches. Its sales cover most of the ministry's underlying costs. That way, most donated funds go straight to local families in crisis, who get emergency help with food, clothing, medical and dental care, and household bills.
New items go out on the racks every day, including clothing, vintage pieces and seasonal goods. Donated goods help stock the resale shop, and the ministry also takes requests to pick up donated furniture. Volunteers help run the shop alongside the ministry's food pantry. The resale store's posted hours cover five days a week.
