For more than 50 years, the Re-Uzit Shop of New Holland has resold donated goods as a nonprofit. Its proceeds support the food, relief and development work of Mennonite Central Committee, along with local charities. Its 30,000 square feet hold clothing for men, women and children, plus furniture, home décor, housewares, kitchen items, jewelry, gifts, books, music, movies and puzzles.
Antiques, vintage pieces and collectibles go into an in-store silent auction, and new clothing comes out every day. Donated household goods help fund MCC's relief, development and peace efforts. The cream-colored building has a wide blue stripe running around it. The shop is open six days a week and closed on Sundays.
