The Salvation Army Family Store is at 61 N. Chestnut St. in New Paltz, New York. Sales at Salvation Army stores help fund the charity's adult rehabilitation programs. It is in Ulster County. It carries clothing, furniture, antiques, home goods and collectibles. Its posted hours cover six days a week. A purchase here does double duty: a bargain for the shopper and support for the charity behind the counter. Fresh donations come in through the week, so the floor rarely stays the same for long.
