This hospice thrift store raises money for the programs of East End Hospice, and all of its proceeds go to the organization's children's bereavement services. It has been open since January 1997 and moved into the storefront next door as well a year later. It is open six days a week and closed on Sundays, with weekly sales. A low red-brick wall runs beneath its front windows.
The stock changes every day and includes clothing, shoes, jewelry, linens, furniture, household items, art, antiques, collectibles, vintage pieces, small appliances and seasonal décor. Donations are accepted on set donation days, and pickup can be arranged for larger items. Tax receipts are provided. The shop does not take mattresses, toys, TVs, cribs, car seats, computer or exercise equipment, or medical equipment.
