Every purchase at the Sun Health Resale Shop is free of sales tax, and all net proceeds stay in the community, funding special projects at Banner Boswell Medical Center, Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center and Sun Health Wellness programs. Sun Health Foundation runs this Sun City West shop in partnership with the Sun City West Foundation, and its black Sun Health awning hangs beneath that foundation's name, spelled out in raised letters. The shop also sells through an online eBay store.
Donations of clothing, furniture, household goods, home décor, kitchen gadgets, jewelry, small appliances and tools are accepted on weekday mornings, and donors receive a receipt for tax purposes. Large furniture can be picked up locally by arrangement. Major appliances, large TVs, pianos, mattresses, window coverings and auto or construction parts are not accepted.
