In Schererville, the Hearts in Motion Resale Shoppe sells donated and new clothing along with housewares and furniture. The shop is open six days a week and closed on Sundays. Donors who have items to give can call the shop to schedule a pickup.
The shop is run by Hearts in Motion, a nonprofit organization that has been serving for more than 30 years. The organization connects volunteers with communities in need through short-term service trips that build homes, distribute essential supplies and support education. Sales at the shop support that work, which brings general and women's health care, dental services, and physical, occupational and speech therapy to underserved communities in Guatemala and beyond.
