Hollywood Taft is a Goodwill store with a donation center, run by Goodwill South Florida in Hollywood, Florida. Its sales support the organization's mission of changing lives through the power of work, which includes jobs and training for people with disabilities and others who face barriers to work. The gray building has purple Goodwill lettering on its upper walls, and a separate sign points donors toward the donations side.
Donated goods get a second life on the sales floor instead of going to a landfill. Across the region, Goodwill South Florida keeps 62 million pounds of waste out of landfills each year. Donors should check the organization's do's and don'ts list before dropping items off. The store is open seven days a week and stays open into the evening at least one day.
