Run as a ministry of Longboat Island Chapel, the Lord's Warehouse Thrift Shop sells clothing, jewelry, antiques, furniture, books and housewares, and its stock changes often. Name-brand and designer clothes and shoes from labels such as Prada, Ralph Lauren and Armani come through regularly, along with original paintings and prints, vintage jewelry and high-end home furnishings. The shop also puts on an annual fashion show and luncheon.
Donations can be dropped off Monday through Friday on the shop's front porch. Furniture is taken only during business hours, and most electronics are not accepted. For large items, the shop arranges a time to look them over and pick them up. It opens Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays and closes for September. The cream building has maroon shutters and trim, with a long sign lettered in maroon.
