Shopping and donating happen under one roof at the Goodwill Store and Donation Center in Weaverville, North Carolina, which combines a retail store with a drop-off point for donated goods. Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina operates the location. Beyond its stores, the organization's work includes career centers, skills classes and other programs and services.
The doors open seven days a week, and on some days shopping runs into the evening. Donors can bring their goods to the same building where shoppers come to browse the sales floor. The store occupies a red brick corner building with deep arched entryways, and blue-and-white Goodwill signs run along both sides of the corner.
