Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina runs this Winston-Salem store, and the same building also houses the nonprofit's main offices. The location works as a shop, a donation center and a career center, so people can drop off goods, browse the sales floor and get help finding work all at the same address.
The store sits under a long white-paneled overhang with "GOODWILL STORE" spelled out in tall white letters, and large clay planters stand on either side of its entrance between brick columns. Donations are taken at the on-site donation center, and the organization also picks up donations from homes. The store and donation center are open seven days a week, with evening shopping hours Monday through Saturday.
