Grace Centers of Hope, a nonprofit Christian organization that works with people facing homelessness and addiction, runs this Waterford Township thrift store. It sells used furniture, clothing and household goods, and all proceeds support local shelter programs. Donated clothing, shoes, jewelry, appliances, tools, sporting equipment and collectibles are also accepted here. Large red block letters spell out the store's name across its tan facade, next to the organization's light-blue logo. The store is open six days a week into the evening and closed on Sundays.
Donations are tax-deductible, and drop-offs end in the afternoon. Free pickups are available for furniture or for loads of at least ten bags or boxes. The store holds regular sales, and seniors and military personnel get a discount when they show a valid ID.
