Community Action House Resale South turns donated goods into steady income for Community Action House, a Holland, Michigan, nonprofit whose work brings healthy food, housing connections and stability to local families. Every purchase at the resale store goes back into that mission, and the shop runs on neighbors who donate, shop and volunteer.
Donors can drop off items, schedule a pickup for large pieces or host their own donation drive. The store is open six days a week and closed on Sundays, and it takes donations on the same days. Shoppers can sign up for a newsletter to keep up with the store. Above the entrance, a bright blue facade carries red lettering that reads General Store beneath the Community Action House name.
