The Ripple Effect Resale Shoppe in Allendale, Michigan, is run by the nonprofit Ripple Effect, and its sales fund the group's work empowering people in need, both locally and globally. Purchases support Bridget's House, a transitional housing effort that walks alongside mothers and their children facing housing instability. They also support community care programs meant to make sure no one in the area goes without the necessities of life.
The shoppe takes donated goods, which help keep its shelves stocked and its programs running. A dark awning carrying the Ripple Effect name and logo marks the glass entrance of its brown brick building. The store is open six days a week and closed on Sundays, with slightly earlier closing times on Fridays and Saturdays.
