St Simon's Bargain Center runs as a ministry of Saint Simon Catholic Church in Ludington, Michigan. The parish describes it as a Christian service: the money from sales goes to people in need. Anyone can shop there or drop off donations.
The store sells secondhand clothing and small household items, and the racks and shelves are stocked with things given by the community. Donations come in during most of the store's weekday hours but stop about an hour before closing. The center is part of the same parish ministries as the Catholic Daughters of America, the Knights of Columbus and the Altar Society. It is open Monday through Friday and closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
