Style Encore in Grand Rapids, Michigan, sells secondhand clothing, shoes, handbags and accessories for both women and men. The racks run from denim, dresses and swimwear to jewelry, belts, ties and boots. The shop belongs to the Style Encore brand of Winmark Corporation, and like every location it is independently owned and operated. It opens seven days a week and stays open into the evening on at least one day. A long red sign with the store name in white lettering runs across the front of the building.
The store doesn't take donations. Instead, it buys pre-owned pieces for every season from the public, and selling needs no appointment. Anyone who brings in items the store buys leaves with cash on the spot.
