Shoppers and donors use the same front doors at The Salvation Army Family Store & Donation Center in Williamsville, New York, which serves as both a place to drop off donations and a place to shop. Every purchase helps pay for the charity's adult rehabilitation programs. A red shield bearing the organization's name hangs high on a taupe facade of vertical metal paneling. Below it, a recessed entrance sits between two rough-textured brick pillars. The store opens six days a week and stays closed on Sundays.
