Sales at this Stockton Goodwill pay for job training and other services that prepare people for work. The store is run by Goodwill Industries of San Joaquin Valley, a not-for-profit agency that helps people facing barriers to employment become self-sufficient. Donated goods are sold on the store floor, and the money goes back into that employment work. Doors open seven days a week, with evening hours on at least one day.
Donated household items come to the store, and the organization also accepts vehicles and financial gifts. Goodwill is a certified electronics collector, so old electronics can be recycled for free. Donors can use a valuation guide to work out what their items are worth. Blue Goodwill lettering stands out across the store's tan stone-block front.
