Clothing, vinyl records, CDs and DVDs can all be sold here, because the Fresno shop buys secondhand goods as well as selling them. Anyone selling clothing can choose to donate the full appraised value, plus an extra 15 percent, to a charity of their choice. The store is open five days a week, Sundays included, with evening hours on at least one day.
Mad Monk puts two shops under one roof: Anastasia's, which carries new and vintage clothing, and Rasputin, which sells music and movies, including collectible vinyl. The business dates back to 1971. Its pink building has the name in tall red letters on a white sign.
