Run by the St. James – St. Leo Catholic Community in Solana Beach, California, the SAINTS Thrift Shop raises money to support the St. Leo community. The shop sells women's and men's clothing, along with jewelry, accessories, small housewares and small decorations. It's open five days a week, including Sundays.
The shop sits in a whitewashed block building with a thick border of dark brown block around its front windows and tall ponytail palms in pots on either side of the door. The store keeps asking for more people to help out as volunteers. Donations in the same categories it sells go to a donation table, which takes them seven days a week, even on days the store itself is closed.
