Clothing for the whole family fills this Riverside thrift store, along with dinnerware, accessories, books, housewares and electronics. Savers is run by TVI, Inc., a for-profit company, and the store is open seven days a week and into the evening. Every Tuesday is Senior Tuesday, with a discount for shoppers 55 and older. Super Savers Club members earn rewards points and get members-only sales. A red script sign hangs above maroon steel lattices that frame the entrance.
A Community Donation Center on the side of the building takes clothing, shoes, books, toys, housewares, electronics, small appliances and small furniture. Shopping here supports no charity, but donating does. Savers pays the American Red Cross for donated goods, which are sold in bulk to fund its charitable work.
