This Santa Clarita thrift store is run by Savers, a for-profit reuse company, and buying here does not benefit a charity. Donations do. Clothing and household goods dropped off at the store are collected on behalf of the American Red Cross, which is paid for them to help fund its programs. The racks and shelves carry clothing for the whole family along with dinnerware, accessories, books, housewares and electronics.
Accepted donations include clothing and shoes, bed and bath linens, games and toys, sporting goods, books and media, small appliances and small furniture. Donors get a discount on a future purchase, and shoppers 55 and older get a discount every Tuesday. The store is open seven days a week and stays open into the evening. Above the entrance, red Savers lettering sits on a white arched sign with "thrift" in blue underneath.
