In South Pasadena, Hotbox Vintage sells vintage clothing for women and men, grouped by decade from the fifties through the 2000s, with a designer section too. The racks carry dresses, outerwear and sweaters, swimwear and lingerie, tops, bottoms and matching sets. Accessories include shoes, bags, sunglasses, scarves, hats, pins and bolo ties, along with bracelets, earrings, necklaces and rings.
The stock also covers the home, with kitchen and bar pieces, ceramics, lighting and art. Everything can be bought in the store or online, and local pickup of online orders is free. The shop sits in a corrugated metal building with a dark script sign, string lights overhead and clothing racks set out front. It is open five days a week, Sundays included, and stays open into the evening on at least one day.
