Bakersfield shoppers and donors both rely on this Salvation Army thrift store, which pairs its sales floor with a donation center. Its doors open seven days a week, with evening hours on at least one of them. Proceeds from each sale help pay for the charity's adult rehabilitation programs. The store's sign sets the red Salvation Army shield beside red lettering that reads "Family Store," with "Donation Center" spelled out in white on a red panel beneath.
