Run as a nonprofit, New Beginnings Thrift and Resale Store raises money for children with medical, developmental and other special needs through the Robert Postigo Family Charitable Trust for Special Needs Children. The store's special friends, adults and children with special needs, help run the shop by greeting guests, assisting with daily operations and crafting items sold in the store.
The store held its grand opening and ribbon cutting in March 2025 in the corner space that once housed the Worth Saving shop. Since then it has hosted a Mother's Day fashion show featuring its special friends. A galvanized trough of succulents sits outside the peach building with maroon trim. It is open five days a week and stays open latest on Wednesdays.
