Part thrift shop and part donation center, the Goodwill in Spring, Texas, takes in items from donors and sells them on its own sales floor, with the proceeds funding the regional organization's job training and employment programs. Rows of clothing racks fill the floor, alongside a furniture section of tables, sofas and lamps and a long wall of framed artwork. The store opens its doors seven days a week and keeps evening hours on at least one of them.
