At 166 Union St. in Rockville, Connecticut, shoppers will find The Salvation Army Thrift Store. Sales at Salvation Army stores help fund the charity's adult rehabilitation programs. It is in Tolland County. Its stock covers clothing, furniture, antiques, home goods and collectibles. Its posted hours cover six days a week. Giving and buying both help here, since donations stock the shelves and sales fund the mission. New donations keep the selection changing, so no two visits are quite the same.
