Grasp Thrift Store sits beneath a bright red metal awning set against tan block walls in Universal City, Texas. Lettering on its glass doors names it Grasp Thrift Shop and states that donations are taken only during business hours. The same doors make clear that appliances and mattresses are not accepted, with a notice about the city ordinance against dumping posted beside the store hours. Shoppers and donors can come by on any day, since the store opens its doors seven days a week, Sundays included.
