In Grand Prairie, Texas, Tiko Thrift keeps a weekend-only schedule, opening on Saturdays and Sundays. Its goods are set out on a bright blue table backed by a wall of pale corrugated metal. Across a black cloth on that tabletop, rows of small solar-powered dancing figures crowd together, with boxed toys and a compact white radio gathered at one end. Underneath, bags of toys share space with a bin of coiled cables and cords.
