Clothing for women, men, teens and children fills the racks at AGC Resale Boutique in Bellaire, alongside accessories, jewelry, collectibles, household goods, home accents, vintage pieces and electronics. The shop also offers personal shopping and image consulting. Sales cover the running costs of Amazing Grace Charities, a Houston-based charity, and the rest of the money goes to people who need help. A white "Resale" sign sits above the door, and potted plants stand on either side of it.
The charity takes donations by appointment, with pickup and drop-off options. It sorts and grades what comes in and keeps the best pieces for the boutique. Household basics go to people referred to it in urgent need. Unsold goods are passed on to other organizations, and items that can't be used are recycled. The boutique is open five days a week.
