A charity thrift shop in West Orange, Texas, the Salvation Army of Orange Family Store is run by the local Orange Corps of The Salvation Army, an international evangelical Christian movement. Alongside the store, the corps runs a worship center and a food pantry and offers help at Christmas. The store is open six days a week and closed on Sundays.
The store takes donations of clothing, furniture and household items. Goods dropped off in person are accepted only while the store is open. A white banner with two red Salvation Army shields and the words "Family Store" hangs on the green awning that runs along the front of the long, white metal-sided building, above a row of brick columns.
