Kountze, Texas, has a family-owned and operated resale shop that is open four days a week, Wednesday through Saturday. Tamberly Resale Shop does not take consignment items yet, though it plans to start in the future. The store sits in a red metal building with a deep covered porch, and its wooden roadside sign is painted in purple and pink.
The clothing racks cover all ages and sizes, from everyday basics to vintage pieces. Glassware and kitchenware run from practical everyday items to vintage sets. Shelves hold board games, puzzles and video games, both new and vintage. Sports fans will find retro gear, collectible jerseys, memorabilia and equipment. Toys sit beside vintage décor, furniture and other collectibles, and every toy is checked by hand before it goes out.
