Open five days a week, Yaya's Corner is a thrift shop in Bacliff, Texas. It goes by a homey, possessive name. Its merchandise fills the tiled front porch, where black wrought-iron baker's racks hold ceramic pitchers, vases, candleholders and small figurines beneath ornate metal scrollwork hung on the wall, alongside wooden stools, a carved pedestal table and potted plants.
