A charity thrift store run by the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Council of Pensacola/Tallahassee, this Pensacola shop sells women's, men's and children's clothing, household goods and new mattresses. Its sales support the Alfred-Washburn Center, a day center that offers free meals, showers, laundry, clothing and ID assistance to people who are homeless or in need. New merchandise comes out daily, and something is always on sale.
The Society is a Catholic lay organization that has served Pensacola since 1933. It also runs a food pantry and offers limited financial assistance. The store takes donations of clothing, furniture, books and household goods. On the sales floor, brass candlesticks, table lamps and framed beach art sit on wooden desks and side tables. The store is open six days a week and closed on Sundays.
