Every piece of clothing at rekindled. is sourced one item at a time, then cleaned, repaired and sometimes reworked before it goes out on the floor of this Greensboro secondhand boutique and thrift store. New items arrive daily, and the store is open five days a week. A loyalty program gives points on purchases toward gifts and exclusive offers. Hand-painted sunflowers and orange blooms run along the front windows under a green awning.
Donations of any kind are accepted. Whatever the store doesn't keep goes to local nonprofits it supports, including Backpack Beginnings, A Simple Gesture and The Family Room Triad. Bulk donations from the area can be picked up outside store hours. The business is not a 501(c), so it doesn't give donation receipts. On donation drive days, which are announced in the store, every purchase gets a discount.
